Every employer and business will from time to time have performance and behavioral problems with their employees. It is important to effectively and appropriately document and address those problems both to protect the employer from legal liability and also to maximize the chance for a positive outcome for both the employer and employee. Similarly, employers are often faced with the need to investigate various issues. Some investigations are required by law and many are necessary to identify and stop illegal or inappropriate behavior.
